Frequently asked questions
How do I book my first appointment?
You’ll be notified by email when the early access opens and receive a link to check your eligibility online and book your first appointment.
How much will it cost? Is it really free?
While coverage depends on your individual insurance plan, in 95% of cases, people pay $0 out-of-pocket for their visits. Curalife dietitians are in-network with many major insurance companies, including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, and UnitedHealthcare, among others. In rare instances, there may be some out-of-pocket costs, but we are committed to transparency and will keep you informed every step of the way.
What is the Curalife "No Surprises" Billing Guarantee?
At Curalife, we are committed to a transparent, no-surprise billing experience, so you’ll never receive an unexpected bill.
Here’s how it works:
We confirm your insurance coverage before you schedule your first appointment, and we perform an additional check 72 hours before the scheduled visit.
If we discover any patient responsibility (such as a copay or coinsurance), we’ll notify you of the exact amount via email 72 hours in advance, so you can decide whether to cover the payment or cancel the appointment.
Is the dietitian service only for supplement users?
No, it’s available for everyone regardless of the supplement use. However we strongly believe that combining both will help achieve best results.
How many appointments will I need?
Our registered dietitians take a highly personalized approach tailored to your current diet, goals, and the number and severity of any health issues you may face.
Because every client is different, your dietitian will tailor the number and frequency of sessions to your needs. You may meet weekly or bi-weekly, depending on your wellness and weight loss goals.
Are dietitians the same thing as nutritionists?
No, they are not the same. The term “nutritionist” is not legally regulated, meaning that anyone, even without formal training, can use it. At Curalife, every provider is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or Registered Dietitian (RD), a title protected by law. To earn this credential, RD/RDNs must complete a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, pass a national certification exam, and participate in ongoing continuing education each year.
When you work with Curalife, you can feel confident knowing you’re consulting with licensed health professionals who are extensively trained in nutrition and dietary care.
Is this service available outside the USA?
No. At this time, our service is only available to clients located in the United States.
